Aidyn has learned to spell her name and has started wondering about the spelling of other people's names. This morning she came out of the kitchen carrying a handful of random magnetic letters from the fridge and asked, "Mama--is this how you spell Nana?"
I answered, "Nana is n-a-n-a."
She turned around repeating to herself, "N-a-n-a. N-a-n-a," and went back to the fridge. A few moments later she called out, "Mama--we don't have all those letters!"
I guess I'll need to go buy another couple sets of fridge letters for her spelling practice.
