Home school this week is about the human body. We are focusing on the five senses and Aidyn has been very interested in learning how we can see, hear, taste, touch, and smell. We also watched a video about Helen Keller and Aidyn was fascinated by the idea that some people can't see, hear, or speak. After the movie was long over and Aidyn was supposed to be lying down for quiet time I tried to quickly sneak in a shower. She came in needing to use the bathroom and noticed the mirror: "Oh no!! Mommy!! The mirror is blind!!" From the five senses to a discussion about condensation--gotta love homeschooling!!
