I just picked Aidyn up from her first day at her new babysitter's house. We're really blessed because she doesn't have to go to formal daycare and she can play all day with her "favorite friend," Lexi, thanks to the willingness of one of our friends to watch her three days a week.
She told me all about what a fun day she'd had and all the different toys she'd played with. Then I asked her if she'd eaten lunch yet and she started to giggle.
Direct quote: "Yeah, we had cheesy noodles [macaroni and cheese] and there was cheese all over the place. Yeah, it was so silly and funny."
So, apparantly, I also need to send a cleaning staff to our friends' house after lunch each day!
